1. How to distinguish the quality of the auto oil filter? Look at the appearance, the paint is uneven, and it is definitely not a high-quality filter element when touched by hand. But it has nothing to do with color. Some machine filters are sprayed with powder coating, which is darker in color. Look at the filter paper. The higher the density of the filter paper, the better the quality. Weigh it. If the weight is too light, the shell must be a bit thin. Look at the clarity of the font. The font on the surface of the high-quality auto oil filter is clear and neat, with exquisite workmanship, no bumps and burrs. If it is inferior, the font is blurred, the surface is rough, the paint is not strong enough, and it is easy to be scratched by nails. Look at the packaging to verify the anti-counterfeiting code.
2. High-quality auto oil filters have complete packaging. The packaging is marked with brand, anti-counterfeiting code and other signs. Verify the QR code on the packaging to verify whether it is genuine. Look at the filter paper. The quality of the filter paper is directly related to the performance of the product. Good filter paper has small hole spacing and can pass well. The engine lubricating oil is constantly polluted by metal chips, dust in the air and carbon deposits. Among them, heavy impurities are deposited at the bottom of the oil pan, and light impurities enter the friction surface with the lubricating oil, causing early wear of parts. The function of the auto oil filter is to allow the lubricating oil to pass through the filter to remove dirt. After the filter has been used for a certain period of time, a lot of dirt will be attached to the filter element, so the filter should be replaced regularly.
3. The auto oil filter and the oil should be replaced at the same time. This is conducive to extending the service life of the engine. A dirty air filter will prevent fresh air from entering the cylinder, thereby affecting the mixing ratio of air and gasoline. According to the test, it takes about 15g of air to completely burn 1g of gasoline. If the air entering the cylinder is insufficient, the mixed gas cannot be completely burned, wasting gasoline, the engine power is insufficient, and the exhaust gas contains more HC and CO components, polluting the environment.
4. The air inevitably contains impurities such as dust, and its content varies depending on the local soil, climate and road. According to the test, when a car is driving on a dusty dirt road, the air filter can filter out about 0.4~1.8g of dust for every 1 cubic meter of air inhaled. In terms of chemical composition, most of this dust is silica. When they enter the friction surface, they will puncture the lubricating oil film, aggravate the wear of the engine cylinder, and shorten the service life of the engine. When replacing a new filter element, you should choose the filter element provided by the original factory, and do not use inferior filter elements.
